Collection consists of issues of journals that contain some of the articles written by H. Roger Grant from 1973-2006. Most of the articles in the collection were published between 1983-1989. Topics covered in the articles include Iowa railroad stations, Charles Eldridge Griffin, the 51st Iowa Volunteers, the labor exchange movement, Iowa railroads, the Spirit Fruit Society in Ohio, Charles P. Brown, interurban railroads in the Memphis, Tennessee area, Graydon Horath, the Chicago and North Western Railroad, Kate Shelley, transportation in Kansas, the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha Railroad, a review of the centennial celebrations of several railroads, and the Ozark Short Line Railroad.
